Dance With Me is described as a "deep cranberry red". It's highly pigmented and opaque. With this product a little bit goes a long way, and by a little bit, I mean a little bit. It's quite thick, so the key to achieving the best look with this lipstick is to use barely anything. Also, it dries pretty quickly, which is something I always look for in a liquid lipstick.
One thing I noticed is this does transfer, even after dry. If you touch your lips you will get a red smudge on your fingers. Personally, it doesn't really bother me, but I know that for some of you this might be a deal breaker. I do love the formula, I like how thin it looks on my lips and how it wears throughout the day. I can wear this for at least 6 hours without it losing pigmentation or needing to touch up. My favorite part has to be the fact that it doesn't crack. I just can't stand when lipsticks start to crack after some hours or especially when I smile.
This has the best applicator I have even seen. It gives so much precision and it is super easy to get a flawless application. If you are familiar with MAC lipsticks, you know how they have a characteristic vanilla scent and this product is no different. Don't judge me, but I could seriously spend a while smelling it. Now when it comes to removing this lip color, you will need to use a makeup remover and even then, you might struggle to get it all off. After scrubbing my lips, I still had a red stain left.
Overall, I think it is worth the price ($20.00 for 5 ml / 0.17 fl. oz). It's really comfortable to wear considering it's a liquid lipstick. It doesn't feel sticky nor too dry. Keep in mind, the color might look darker depending on the lighting and your undertone. I took my lip swatch photo in front of a window, using natural lighting.
Have you tried any of these new lipsticks? If so, what's your take on them?
